There’s a dark and deadly revenge plan by one Coronation Street villain that could see a fire tear through the street.
New spoilers have revealed one villain takes dangerous action after recent events. Whether it goes ahead and whether it leaves lives on the line remains to be seen, but it comes ahead of one character being killed off in a flashforward twist.
But Carl Webster is determined to get back at his family including Debbie Webster who he recently uncovered was his biological mother, and not his sister. Carl has vowed to leave her to rot in prison, after she took the blame for his crime.
Now he’s about to spark chaos, as he plans a fire at the hotel Debbie owns. After Carl is sacked from the hotel by Ryan Connor, amid recent drama there, he decides to get rid of the hotel entirely.

By get rid, he means burn it down. He calls a mate of his next week called Jez, sharing his plan to set the hotel alight and destroy it, no doubt wanting to get back at Ryan.
As he talks Jez through the plans for the fire it is clear by next week he is still keen to go ahead. Jez then shows up at the hotel and introduces himself to Debbie’s husband Ronnie Bailey.
He claimed to be a handyman looking for work in the area, but it’s clear he has a hidden agenda for being there. Jez takes photos of the fire exits and the cameras when Ronnie isn’t looking.

He then rushes out claiming to have what he needs, before he later meets with Carl. They are spotted though by a suspicious Ronnie, just as Carl goes over the final details of their plan.
When Carl leaves, Ronnie approaches Jez and takes a picture of him on his phone. He uses this to warn him that he needs to stay clear, adding that Carl is bad news and he should stay well away.
When Ronnie then tracks down Carl and confronts him, he spells out to him that whatever he was plotting with Jez isn’t going to happen. Of course he probably isn’t anticipating that it’s something as extreme as burning the place down.
Ronnie makes it clear he has Debbie’s back and so anything he’s planning, he can forget it. Carl then wastes no time dropping the bombshell that Debbie is his mum, not his sister.
So how will Ronnie react to this news, and will Debbie then tell him the truth? More than that, has Carl been scared off, or will he go through with his horrifying fire plan?
