Fans of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly were left baffled this week when the much-loved show suddenly disappeared from Channel 5 — with no warning and no explanation.
But now, Graeme Hall has broken his silence.
Viewers Left Confused as Show Pulled Without Notice
On Tuesday night, loyal viewers tuned in expecting another dose of canine chaos — only to find The Yorkshire Vet airing instead. With just seven episodes of the current run broadcast so far, fans quickly took to social media demanding answers.
Had the series been cancelled?
Was something wrong behind the scenes?
Would series 8 ever return?
“We’ve Hit Pause” — Graeme Addresses Fans Directly
Breaking from his usual hands-off approach to social media, Graeme posted a candid video message on Facebook to explain the situation — filmed while walking through London.
“Now then, it’s that dog fella off the telly here,” he began, instantly putting viewers at ease.
Graeme confirmed that Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly hasn’t been cancelled — it’s simply been paused.
“You might have noticed there’s a bit of a gap in the current series,” he explained.
“So what we’ve decided to do is give it a little pause… and then there’ll be more episodes coming back in the summer.”
More Episodes — and More Countries — Still to Come
Reassuring fans, Graeme revealed there’s still plenty left to see in the current series.
“There’s loads still to come — England, Wales… we’ve already been to Scotland. Northern Ireland too, which is a first.”
He teased more dogs, more problems, and more unforgettable moments — adding that viewers definitely won’t be disappointed when the show returns.
And there was even better news…
“Rumour has it,” Graeme smiled, “there might be another Australia series on the way as well.”
Fans React: Relief, Excitement — and a Bit of Protest
