Despite appearing to erase a heartfelt tribute to his father, Brooklyn Beckham is still proudly sporting one of the most lavish gifts ever given to him by David Beckham – a jaw-dropping £220,000 rose-gold Patek Philippe watch.
The 26-year-old was photographed stepping out in California hand-in-hand with wife Nicola Peltz, looking every inch the loved-up couple as they enjoyed a lavish BYOB dinner date. But while Brooklyn’s ‘Dad’ tattoo appears to have vanished amid the family’s escalating feud, the ultra-luxury timepiece – reportedly gifted by David for his 21st birthday – remained firmly on his wrist.
The rose-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus, said to be worth around $300,000, has previously been described by Brooklyn as his “favourite watch,” and he continues to wear it daily – even after declaring he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents.
And the indulgence didn’t stop there. For their romantic evening, the pair brought along two exceptional bottles of vintage Bordeaux: a 1992 Château Margaux valued at more than £2,200 and a 1989 Château Latour worth around £800. What might have been a quiet dinner quickly became a high-end display of wealth and defiance.
Dressed in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, Brooklyn held Nicola’s hand as she stepped out in her signature low-slung jeans, crop top and sunglasses – despite the night-time setting.
The outing comes just weeks after Brooklyn sensationally accused his parents of attempting to sabotage his marriage. After insisting he had no desire to reconcile with David and Victoria Beckham, he appeared to remove the anchor tattoo on his arm that featured the word “Dad” with “Love you Bust” written beneath it – a move insiders claim left David heartbroken.
While Brooklyn toasted the Californian good life, he was noticeably absent from brother Cruz Beckham’s milestone 21st birthday celebration in London. The rest of the Beckham clan gathered for a raucous Beatles-themed bash celebrating Cruz’s big night and budding music career.
In what looked like an attempted olive branch, Cruz recently shared a childhood snap of himself and his siblings smiling together. Yet the cracks remain visible – the brothers are still unfollowing each other on Instagram, with no clear sign that the family rift is healing anytime soon.
