Wrapped in bandages and visibly bruised, Danniella was seen easing herself into a swimming pool at a luxury resort, carefully protecting her face as she continues the long process of healing. A Face Rebuilt After Years of Damage
The latest procedure, carried out last week at Dubai’s Gargash Hospital, was among the most complex Danniella has faced. Surgeons performed a full face, neck and brow lift, alongside lip and nose reconstruction — the latest step in an ongoing effort to repair damage caused by a collapsed septum, osteoporosis, and the long-term effects of past cocaine addiction.

The health scare forced her to step away from what was meant to be her on-screen comeback in the film Tales From The Trap, where she had been cast as a gun-selling gangster grandmother.
Despite excitement around the role, insiders confirmed she had no choice but to withdraw. “Her breathing became too dangerous to ignore,” a source revealed. The role was later recast, marking yet another setback in her return to acting.

Danniella rose to fame at just 16 as Sam Mitchell on EastEnders, but her career was repeatedly disrupted by addiction and health battles. At the height of her drug use, she has previously admitted spending vast sums on cocaine — damage that ultimately led to the collapse of her septum in the early 2000s.
