Coronation Street favourite Jack P Shepherd has revealed a major new chapter in his personal life — announcing that he is expecting a baby with his wife Hanni Treweek, just months after the couple tied the knot.

The actor, best known for playing David Platt on the ITV soap, shared the joyful news with fans via a deeply emotional Instagram post, confirming that the couple are preparing to welcome their first child together.

In a touching caption that immediately set social media alight, Jack wrote:
“We’ve been keeping a secret… June 2026.”

He added a heartfelt thank-you to the creative team behind the announcement, describing them as the “dream team” who helped make the moment unforgettable.

The announcement came alongside a beautifully shot black-and-white pregnancy video, showing the newlyweds glowing as they posed together during a maternity photoshoot.

In one standout moment, Hanni appears radiant in a flowing white gown, gently cradling her growing baby bump while Jack places a tender hand on her stomach — a quiet, intimate image that spoke volumes without a single word.

Another clip showed the couple holding up a pair of tiny knitted baby booties, leaving little doubt about how excited they are to expand their family.

The happy news comes less than a year after Jack and Hanni’s glamorous wedding in Manchester in July 2025, a ceremony that drew plenty of attention for its scale and elegance.

The couple first met behind the scenes on Coronation Street, where Hanni worked off-camera. Their romance later blossomed away from the spotlight, before Jack proposed during a romantic safari getaway the year before their wedding.

Following their nuptials, the newlyweds jetted off to Italy for their honeymoon, sharing sun-soaked snaps from destinations including Pompeii.

2025 proved to be a landmark year for Jack, who also took part in — and unexpectedly won — Celebrity Big Brother. The actor later admitted he joined the show to help fund the wedding, never anticipating that he would walk away as champion.

Jack is already a father to three children from previous relationships, including two with his ex-partner Lauren Shippey.

The wedding, however, was not without controversy. Sources previously claimed that Lauren was surprised by the scale of the celebrations, with one insider suggesting the grandeur had left some people “raising eyebrows.”
