Sharing the update as she rang in the New Year in London, Gemma described the moment as her “final glass of champagne” before stepping into a brand-new chapter of her life — one centred on family, commitment and motherhood.

Posting a series of radiant snaps from a glamorous New Year’s Eve celebration at London’s luxury hotspot The Ned, where the couple were joined by close friends including DJ Fat Tony, Gemma wrote:

“The most fantastic NYE with our faves… it was the final drink of champagne as I have a wedding to plan!! YES I’m getting married this year and YES I’m having a baby.”

The star added that the night felt “out of this world”, hinting that the year ahead would bring life-changing moments she has waited a long time for.
